“I found Rafael hovering over the dresser which is one of the places he previously resided. He confessed that he was pondering that today was the day I was supposed to be returning from Italy after three moths of travel. He asked if it bothers me that my dream had been cut short. I told him that I hadn’t thought much about it. I am focused on what is and I am deeply grateful that I am home safe with him and near many of my loved ones. He admitted that daily, he is grateful that I lost my opportunity to trade him in for a boyfriend with a vineyard. I asked him not to remind me of that as I take inventory on my wine rack.”
